Camelsan A.S, founded in January 2007, has succeeded in recycling the mixed hank glass fibre waste bundles
which are generated during the production of glass fibre.
The company’s unique machines and production system were designed and manufactured after three years of
R&D. The products are chopped glass fibre strands ranging from 4.5 to 80 mm according to customer demand.
They are either used as reinforcement in thermoplastics (PA, PP) such as engineering plastics, or in
thermosetting (BMC, DMC, SMC) resins such as polyester to increase mechanical strength and elasticity.
Camelsan’s goal is to produce low-cost recycled products of original quality for the industrial sector and to
generate funds and knowledge for the development of value-added recycling projects.
Its vision is to prove the benefits of recycling projects (turning them into investments) for the environment, investors and the world economy
in general through concrete examples. They are striving to become one of the leading companies aware of the necessity of devoting time,
money and labour to R&D.
