What is chopped glass fiber

It is a product group, bobbins which have been obtained after the fibre has been pulled by the glass fibre manufacturer and chopped via a second process to 3-24 mm ready for sale. It is mixed into thermosets like polyester or thermoplastics like polyamide, polypropylene and prepared as thermoset and thermoplastic composites appropriate for production by press or injection methods.
